CLASSIFICATION OF SNEHANA-
1.) Internal oleation
Itis a form of consumption that includessnehana dravya , whether in a medicinalornon-medicated form. Itcan or should notbemixedwith other ayurvedicfoods or medicines.The technique lubricatestissuesand various parts ofhuman body.
2) External oleation/massage/abhyanga

Vamana therapyis used when an aggravatedthe kapha dosha that causes disease,orwhen dominant kapha dosha in conjunctionwith pitta doesha causesthe disease.There are certainlimitations and contraindications.
Thetherapy is suggested indiarrhea dysentery, dysentery, feversfrom recent causes such as cold, coughasthma, tumour,thyroid disorder,urinary tractdisorder Anorexia, skin diseases breathing disorder, ingestiongoiter, fibroid, filariasis,and many more.
Patientswith a kapha dosha less thannormalshould not undergovammanatherapies.Women who are pregnant, with noany snehana or karma, with a strong ag(digestive system) or someone who isstressed, hungry or stress, children, an elderly who is weak, weak, has an enlargedspleen, intestinal parasites,enlarged prostate and etcin these cases, vamana karmashould be avoided.
Virechan (purgation)can be described as the second of the karmainpanchakarma. It isone of the most commonlyutilized treatments, especially inillnesses caused bypitta dosha that is aggravated. The pittadoesha is removedin a forceful manner through the anal channel.The doshas are eliminated withless effort and less hasslecompared to vamana karma. Itmay also be administeredinpitta-kapha or vata-pittadoshas, where pitta is predominant. Thetreatment requires adherence to a specificfood regimens in order to achievenormaldiet and to completethetreatment.

Virechan drugs include milk, takra, gavakshi, vacha, punarnava, shala, panchmoola, saptala, haritaki, kashmarya, draksha, jyotishmati, vibhitaki, amalaki, abhaya etc.

1) Snigdha virechan- meaning ofthe word “snigdha” isoily. It ismentioned in the context of pitta.isin connection withvata dosha.
2) Rooksha virechan- itis a sign that pitta isrelated to kapha dosha.
Virechancan be givenconstipation, gout, piles as well as jaundice, liver disease ascites, splenomegalydysuria and pain in the largecolon, urogenitalsystem inmale and female and nasal bleeding, etc.
Insufficiency of the digestive system, diarrhea and dysentery as well as ulcersin the rectum and emaciatedpatient, following excessiveOleation treatments, wounds, etc.areinstances wherevirechanshould not be used.
3) BASTI KARMA
Inthe past,thebladder (basti) wasutilized as anequipmentforthe enema.This is why the name of theprocedure is basti Karma.
Basti isa particular treatmentinayurvedic panchakarma.In this medicated ghee,decoctions, oils, etc.are administeredvia the rectalvaginal, and urinary route.
